DuraMac DM-46B Four Wheel Drive Bus
The DM-46B is a 4×4 all-terrain passenger bus built for personnel transport in the world’s most demanding environments. On a heavy-duty ladder frame with a 3,600 mm wheelbase it measures 7,360 × 2,370 × 3,260 mm and seats 21 + 2. A Cummins B190 33 six-cylinder diesel delivers 140 kW (≈190 hp) from 5.9 litres, matched to a 12-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case for permanent all-wheel drive.
Off-road capability is engineered in: 315 mm minimum ground clearance, 550 mm wading depth, 435 mm obstacle crossing height, approach / departure angles of 23° / 20°, semi-elliptic leaf springs (10 / 9) and 3.5 t rated front and rear axles on 12.5R20 tyres with a spare wheel carrier. A 160 L fuel tank and a 1,820 mm stand-up cabin keep long shifts at remote sites practical.
The vehicle is supplied with bus air-conditioning, emergency roof escape hatch, leather seats, multimedia system, reversing camera, driving recorder, exterior luggage compartment, roof luggage rack, protective body rails and a water tank as standard. Right-hand drive, custom liveries and fleet configurations are available on request.
